Over the last 20 years, barista competitions have been at the forefront of pushing coffee culture forward. We were honored that Delia Avram, the founder of Arusha Coffee, chose to use the Etkin 2-cup Dripper to compete in the Romanian Brewers Cup competition. In this competition, competitors must manually brew three cups of coffee within a time limit, all while giving a presentation to a panel of judges. Competitors are judged on their customer service, coffee knowledge, and, most importantly, the cup quality.
We caught up with Delia after the competition to find out what inspires her to keep competing.
